“Pinwheel Pillow” Kids Camp   July 17-21, 2018 / 10am-12:30pm

Have you ever wanted to make a cool, comfy pillow for your room?  We’ll teach you how!  Baby Lock’s Kids Camp is for kids ages 8 -13 who want to have fun making interesting things while they learn to sew.  On July 17-21, join us for our Pinwheel Pillow project!

The camp will focus on making an artsy Pinwheel Pillow during the week.  This project will take a bit of precision to fit the blocks together, so it is broken into segments:

• Piecing the cloth strips
• Making 1/2 square triangles
• Forming the pinwheel blocks
• Adding sashing borders
• Quilting the piece
• Turning it into a floor pillow

Kids will learn how to use a sewing machine, work with several different materials, and learn new sewing techniques. No prior sewing experience is required!

Cost is $175 and covers all five days and all materials. Kids do not need to bring anything with them to camp. ?

Class dates are July 17-21, from 10:00am-12:30pm each day.

Baby Lock’s Kids Camp is for kids ages 8 -13 who want to have fun making interesting things while they learn to sew.  It’s a very cool sewing camp!  On June 26-30, join us for Animal House!  The camp will focus on making five animal themed pillows during the week:

• Penguin
• Dog
• Cat
• Fox
• Pig

Kids will learn how to use a sewing machine, work with several different materials, and learn new sewing techniques. No prior sewing experience is required!

Cost is $175 and covers all five days and all materials. Kids do not need to bring anything with them to camp. ?
